Calling Creation Back into God’s Original Design

To die to self is to live under a new heaven from a new earth where one’s greater call has only just begun. Make disciples according to God’s original purposes for commissioning us. To make disciples of nations!

Each is given their assignments that lead to walking out God-given instructions and assigned missions. What we call forth into the Light is purposed to rise as image bearers of what God has already created in his likeness. The upward call bears witness of The Way, as well as the one we worship!

The word, “earth” (ereṣ), as spoken of in Genesis, speaks of earth, as opposed to heaven. It also points to the inhabitants of the land.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Regarding ereṣ, what part of the earth does God bring into vision on behalf of those you’re sent to? Here is where we must lay our head on the Lord’s heart to hear what his heart beats for.

Ereṣ (earth) also points to smaller measures as a piece of ground, district, tribal territory, etc. It also speaks of sheol, as an underworld. There are people groups as well as nations that need to be delivered from evil rulers, as well as the lawlessness that has become rampant.

Surveying the land that God wants us to spy out requires setting the order needed to overcome what is in chaos. Which requires all to become disciples and sons of The Son. Moses sent twelve spies into Canaan, while Jesus made twelve Apostles from those he raised up from disciples.

Whether from the twelve that Moses sent out, or from the twelve that Jesus set in order as Apostles, the plumb line still drops at the same precision point in the heavens as God’s Spiritual Positioning System. God’s SPS is likened to the GPS (Global Positioning System) that we use today. The Bible, which is God’s Word, is still our Navigator to this day.

What is known as the wilderness in scripture speaks of uninhabited land. Disciple making and discipleship equips people to inhabit what God will cohabitate with us. Once we become His dwelling place, the rest is history.

There is a Priesthood rising that is catching this. They are as wave-riders and wave runners serving to build foundations under the feet of those who will run for the purpose of staying in step with God. All who co-labor together have a part in the new heavens and new earth - called to raise Creation back into God’s original design.
