Vision of the Silhouette of Christ Formed Over People

Years ago, my first job out of high school was a clerk typist position, where I worked on the 8th floor of a tower. About once a year, all the employees would be gathered into the parking lot to be assembled together to take group photos. The photos were taken from the top floor of the tower.

The vision that I’m about to share was given in a like scenario of that parking lot scene from earlier times. Again, from many years ago, I saw people that appeared to be milling around a parking lot area. They seemed to be aimlessly moving about without direction or purpose. As I watched the people in the parking lot, I saw something begin to overshadow them. When they were overshadowed, they suddenly began to spring into action and take on motion and movement that was not seen in their steps before. As I continued to watch, I saw the Silhouette of Christ appearing in the body that people suddenly began running towards to form him.

Over the years, the ministry that I have been led to gather people into was established on prayer, as well as the Koinonea fellowship spoken of in Acts 2:42. From then to now, the simple order that follows speaks of what continues to this day. The strongest foundations are formed from what is lived and walked out from lifestyle and the marketplaces. The Priesthood that is formed from such serves to carry the ministries into width and length from what otherwise rises from height and depth.

When both are synced together, you have the appearance of the Bride of Christ as New Jerusalem descending from heaven. The City is built square. From the stature that gifts rise into, to how the same ministries build outwardly, we see Christ being formed in people from differing parts. Even as Christ is formed in a people, the form he embodies them from serves each part in what and where he has planted them. His planting brings various dimensions of growth and transformation on many levels.

Rev 21:2

And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The Book of Revelation speaks of the mysteries of Christ. These mysteries are better seen and experienced from what is lived out. Even moreso, from how Christ embodies us. Also, from how he overshadows us from where and how we’re being formed in him. Our greatest gift in the process is Christ himself! When he appears in his glory, we will appear with him. To see him and to discern him in every part is to know him personally from greater intimacy.

Revelation 21:16 (KJV)

“And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.”

From “foursquare dimensions”, the length, breath, and height are spoken of, which brings us back into three dimensions. We are body, soul, and spirit in the likeness of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We know God by knowing who we are in Him.

It has been a few years since I published the Silhouette of Christ being formed by people milling around in the parking lot. Given the times we’re in, it seemed appropriate to revisit this.

Daily, we watch and pray that we could get a glimpse of the Sonrise in the new day that is beginning to dawn.
