I am prompted to post this publically on behalf of some private ministry, as one being aware of differing expectations of different folds of ministry.

A Three-Fold Cord is not easily broken.
Ecc 4:12
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Discipling the Move of the Spirit and the Works of Ministry:
My earlier work of Titus 1:5 ministry began many years ago in relationship with a more corporate localized church body. These churches and bodies of fellowship included primarily Pastor-led churches and fellowships. From these first seed stages of ministry, a corporate witness and presence of the Holy Spirit culminated in relationship to the people that I served with. In this part of the assignment, most of those I served alongside of during this time were Leaders of Churches, as well as those who served in Pastoral Care and Elders teams.
In the course of ministry that followed, people never became the focus of the totality of ministry. From the beginning, the person of the Holy Spirit remained front and center. The signs that followed during these times often revealed who was moving in God’s glory, as well as God’s purposes for why he was moving as he was. Those who were discerning of such would likewise respond during these times with acts that were responsive to the Koinonia fellowship that the Lord appears to us through as his body. What followed in the making of a two-fold cord served to establish what is known as “set times”. The “set times” that frame what was otherwise unseen, identified where foundations could be laid for a greater work to follow.
Seasons and Cycles: From Christ, We See the Father!
The concept of “set times” relates to the understanding of what we know of God’s Times and Seasons in that there are times for everything under heaven. From fruit that marks minute to the hour, the same will later mark day of the week, to week of the month. All towards what God is building through the unbroken fellowship of the Holy Spirit. In the appointed times, where Life is springing up, the Holy Spirit brings spiritual discernment of these things from the awakening that continues to take place in each of us. We do not have to look outwardly to see where the Kingdom will come! What we see inwardly, we will also see outwardly.
From all that has been established and built, Titus 1:5 ministry identifies what the Holy Spirit will back with power and demonstration with his presence in the move of God that follows. From God’s timing, to synchronization of members and parts; to what marks God’s symmetrical building in the greater expanse, God is building a net throughout the church body. This redemptive net will not be broken when the systems of the world are shaken.
What begins with 1) generational lineage continues into what is carried by 2) apostolic team, onto 3) Ecclesia, then 4) administrations that express Ecclesia outside of the church walls.
Spiritual Mapping:
I am not sure if this lay-out would represent any form of spiritual mapping, but knowing what we are presently co-laboring in sets us upon foundations that cannot be shaken. These foundations are needed when we are in the presence of those who are unlearned in the things of God. The coming persecutions will often relate to what we’re rising into and towards. Remembering our foundations, and how to stay aligned with these, prevents us from being caught off guard.
Titus 1:5 ministry becomes the stewardship of the church to the church and beyond. The ministry of the body, as well as what extends the Kingdom to what is outside of the body, is all part of discipling the moves of God and administration of ministries. The differing grids of ministry serve to build what frames more individual spheres of ministry where discretion is needed.
Apostolic Council that oversees the same must adhere to what watches over the spirit life in all. This part of ministry should never be seen as front and center. What is built of foundations is usually covered in dirt and offers support to what needs to be built upon it.
I share these things because God’s order of building fulfills every need. Knowing something about divine order sets our expectations on what is above, not beneath. Also, in what marks a true north towards what we’re building towards. Even from within a world that brings strife, confusion and opposition from ignorance. People, generations, members and parts are certainly used to mark God’s divine order. Knowing this (in part), we still must be able to see the greater course that lies ahead. When what we have knowledge of springs up under our feet as understanding, then we will bring wise counsel to those we consult with and speak to.
Apostolic ministry is not a Sunday morning message or service. It is a Kingdom lifestyle that is lived and walked out daily. The discipleship that takes place in our ranks serves to raise the low places and lower the high places so that breaches are healed. To this means, we sow as we go so that our feet are treading on what will bring forth the greater fruit of our earlier labors.
